Staying at Lotte Hotel Busan and planning a Botox visit

Lotte Hotel Busan is one of the best-known hotels in the Seomyeon area, connected to a large department store and surrounded by shopping streets and restaurants. If you are staying there, you are already in the centre of one of Busan's busiest clinic districts. That makes it easy to fit a short treatment such as Botox into your schedule without long travel times.

This guide covers how to plan a convenient Botox visit from the hotel area, what Botox can and cannot do, listed prices and practical tips for travellers.

Getting from Lotte Hotel Busan to the clinic

Daybeau Clinic Seomyeon is at Ion City Building 15F (Room 1501), 74 Seomyeon-ro, Busanjin-gu, a short walk from Seomyeon Station. From the Lotte Hotel and department store area, many visitors walk, which also lets you combine the visit with shopping or a meal. In hot or rainy weather, the underground shopping arcade around Seomyeon Station can offer a sheltered route for part of the way.

If you prefer not to walk, a short taxi ride is another option. Show the clinic address on a map app or in Korean to the driver. On your first visit, allow a few extra minutes to find the building entrance and take the elevator to the 15th floor.

What Botox treatments are available

Botulinum toxin injections relax targeted muscles. They are commonly used to soften expression lines and, in larger muscles, to adjust contour. Listed first-visit prices at our clinic (KRW, VAT excluded, 10% VAT added at payment, checked October 2026):

  • Wrinkle Botox, Korean toxin, 1 area. 3,000. Areas include forehead, glabella (frown lines), nose bridge or eye area.
  • Jaw Botox 50 units. 9,900. Used for a strong masseter muscle to create a slimmer-looking lower face.
  • Body Botox 100 units, Korean toxin, 1 area. 29,000. Areas include calves, thighs, trapezius or arms.

See all listed items on our price list, and read more on our Botox page. If you have heard of specific toxin brands, such as Xeomin, Nabota or Botulax, you can ask during consultation which options are available.

Fitting Botox into a hotel stay

Botox is one of the quicker treatments, which suits a busy itinerary. The injections themselves usually take only a few minutes, but allow time for registration and a doctor's consultation. A few planning tips:

  • Book early in your stay. Botox effects develop gradually over several days, so treating early gives you a chance to notice the change before you leave and to message the clinic with any questions.
  • Plan the rest of your day. Many people return to shopping or sightseeing straight after. Small bumps at injection points usually settle quickly.
  • Avoid pressure and heat afterwards. Follow the doctor's aftercare advice, which commonly includes not rubbing or massaging the area and avoiding saunas, intense exercise and alcohol for a short period.
  • Be careful with face-down activities. If you have booked a hotel spa massage, mention it to the doctor so they can advise on timing.
  • Use evening and Saturday hours. The clinic is open Monday to Friday 10:00 to 20:00 and Saturday 10:00 to 16:00.

Side effects and safety

Botox is widely used, but like any medical treatment it has possible side effects. Common ones include small bruises, mild swelling or tenderness at the injection site, and occasionally headache. Less commonly, the effect can spread to nearby muscles, for example causing a temporary heavy brow or eyelid. Jaw Botox can make chewing feel slightly different for a while. These effects are usually temporary.

Tell the doctor about any neuromuscular condition, medications, recent treatments and whether you are pregnant or breastfeeding, as Botox may not be suitable. Results and suitability vary between individuals, and the doctor decides at consultation what is appropriate.
