Why Taiwanese visitors choose Busan for K-beauty

Taiwan and Korea share a strong interest in skincare, and many Taiwanese travellers are already familiar with Korean cosmetics, sheet masks and clinic culture. Busan offers an appealing mix for a beauty-focused trip: coastal scenery, famous markets, cafés and a wide range of dermatology and aesthetic clinics in central districts such as Seomyeon. For visitors who want a trip that feels less hectic than Seoul, Busan is worth considering.

This guide covers how Taiwanese visitors can book Korean beauty treatments in Busan, plan around a short stay, and understand pricing.

Arriving and getting around

Flights from Taiwan arrive at Gimhae International Airport. The Busan-Gimhae Light Rail connects to Sasang Station, where Metro Line 2 continues to Seomyeon Station. If you prefer, taxis wait outside arrivals; show the driver the clinic address in Korean.

Daybeau Clinic Seomyeon is located in the Ion City Building, 15F (Room 1501), 74 Seomyeon-ro, Busanjin-gu, a short walk from Seomyeon Station. Seomyeon is a central shopping district where Lines 1 and 2 meet, making it simple to combine an appointment with shopping and food.

Booking and language

  • Consultation languages. Consultations are available in English, Japanese and Korean. If you are comfortable in English or Japanese, you can speak directly with the doctor; otherwise a translation app can help with simple questions.
  • Messaging. You can book through WhatsApp, KakaoTalk, Naver Booking or phone (+82 51-925-7890). Messages are answered with prices in KRW.
  • Prepare a short note. Writing your main concerns, medications and allergies in English before your visit makes the consultation smoother.
  • Share past treatments. Photos or notes about previous fillers, threads, lasers or Botox help the doctor plan safely.

Popular Korean beauty treatments and what to expect

Taiwanese visitors often ask about these categories. Each has different aftercare, and the doctor decides at consultation what is suitable for you.

Skin boosters for hydration and glow

Injected skin boosters such as Water Glow, Exosome and Rejuran are popular for the "glass skin" look. Small bumps at injection points are common for a short time, and bruising is possible. Read more on our skin boosters page.

Pigmentation and tone

Pico toning and similar laser treatments are often used for uneven tone and pigmentation. They are usually done as a series, and sun protection afterwards is important.

Botox for wrinkles and jawline

Wrinkle and jaw Botox are quick injections whose effects develop gradually. Minor bruising can occur.

Non-invasive lifting

Ultrasound and RF lifting devices such as Shurink Universe, ONDA, Titanium and Ultherapy Prime are chosen by visitors who want lifting without surgery. Temporary redness, tenderness or mild swelling is possible.

Prices in KRW

Here are some Daybeau Clinic Seomyeon first-visit prices in KRW, VAT excluded (10% VAT is added at payment), checked October 2026. See the full price list.

Planning tips for a short trip

  • Book treatment early. Give injection bumps or laser redness time to settle before you fly home.
  • Check opening hours. Monday to Friday 10:00 to 20:00, Saturday 10:00 to 16:00.
  • Protect your skin. Bring sunscreen and a hat, especially if you plan to visit the beach.
  • Keep evenings gentle. Saunas, alcohol and intense exercise are commonly limited for a short time after many treatments.
  • Keep aftercare instructions. Take a photo of written instructions so you can check them later.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to speak Korean?
