What Rejuran is and why visitors compare cities

Rejuran is a Korean skin booster made from polynucleotides (often abbreviated PN), a DNA-derived ingredient originally sourced from salmon. It is injected in small amounts across the skin to support skin quality, with patients commonly seeking help with texture, fine lines, dullness and the look of tired skin. Because Rejuran is made in Korea and widely used here, many international visitors plan to have it during their trip.

A frequent question is whether it costs more in Seoul than in Busan. Instead of relying on rumours about city averages, it is more helpful to understand what goes into a Rejuran fee, so you can compare any clinic in either city on equal terms.

What goes into a Rejuran treatment fee

Rejuran fees are shaped by several components. When you look at a quote, try to identify each of these:

  • Product volume. Rejuran is commonly dosed by the cc. A 2cc session and a larger session are not directly comparable.
  • Product line. There are several Rejuran products for different purposes, such as general skin healing, the eye area or scar-focused use. Ask exactly which one you are receiving.
  • Injection method. Rejuran can be injected by hand with a needle, or with an injector device. The method can affect comfort, coverage and price.
  • Numbing. Numbing cream is usually applied beforehand; check whether it is included.
  • Who injects. Ask whether the doctor performs the injections.
  • VAT. Korean clinics may show prices with or without the 10% VAT.

Busan and Seoul: what tends to differ

The product itself is the same nationally. Differences between Busan and Seoul usually come from clinic operating costs, competition in a particular district, and how each clinic chooses to package the treatment. Some clinics in busy Seoul districts advertise low introductory offers to attract new patients, while others build in extras. Busan clinics vary in the same way.

This means the city alone tells you little. A careful clinic in either city will tell you the product, the volume and the full price before you start. If a quote is vague about volume or product name, ask for clarification before agreeing.

Rejuran prices at Daybeau Clinic Seomyeon

For reference, these are the published first-visit prices for skin boosters at Daybeau Clinic Seomyeon. Prices are in KRW, VAT excluded (10% VAT is added at payment), checked October 2026:

  • Rejuran 2cc. 139,000 KRW.
  • Exosome 2.5cc. 49,000 KRW.
  • Water Glow 2cc. 39,000 KRW.

First-visit prices apply once per new patient per item. You can see the full list on our price list and learn more about the treatment on our Rejuran page. If you are considering a different Rejuran product or volume, the doctor can discuss options and quote after an in-person consultation.

How to compare quotes from Seoul and Busan

Use the same checklist for every clinic you contact:

  1. Ask for the product name and volume in cc. This is the single most important comparison point.
  2. Ask whether the sealed product is opened in front of you. Genuine Rejuran comes in branded packaging with identifying labels.
  3. Convert all quotes to the same VAT basis. Add 10% to any price shown without VAT.
  4. Check first-visit conditions. Introductory prices may apply only once.
  5. Check what happens if you need more. Ask how additional volume would be priced.

Once these points are aligned, you can make a fair decision based on value, convenience and how comfortable you feel with the clinic.

What to expect after Rejuran

Rejuran is injected as many small blebs, so small bumps on the skin are common for a short time after treatment. Mild redness, swelling, tenderness and occasional bruising can also occur. These usually settle on their own, though how long depends on the person and the method used. Results are gradual and vary between individuals, and some people choose a course of sessions as advised by their doctor.

Because the product is derived from salmon, tell the doctor about any fish allergy. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding or have a skin infection or medical condition, consult a doctor before treatment. Plan Rejuran a few days before important photos or flights home if you want bumps to settle first.

Frequently asked questions

Is Rejuran cheaper in Busan than in Seoul?

Not automatically. Prices vary by clinic, product and volume in both cities. Compare quotes for the same product and volume, on the same VAT basis.

How many sessions of Rejuran do I need?

It depends on your skin and goals. Some people have a single session during a trip, while others plan a course. The doctor will advise at consultation.

Can I combine Rejuran with a laser treatment?

Combinations are sometimes possible on the same day, but suitability depends on your skin and the treatments chosen. The doctor decides at consultation.

Do I need to book in advance?

Booking ahead is recommended, especially on Saturdays. You can message us with your dates and we will reply with available times and prices in KRW.
