Why distance from your hotel matters

When you are travelling, convenience has real value. A clinic that is easy to reach from your hotel means less time in taxis, less stress about getting lost, and the option to go back and rest after treatment. It also makes it easier to return for a follow-up question or a second session later in your trip.

That said, being close is only one factor. A clinic on your doorstep is not automatically the right one. This guide helps you balance location with the things that matter more for your skin and safety.

Start with how you will travel

Busan is a long, spread-out city, and travel times between districts such as Haeundae, Gwangalli, Nampo and Seomyeon can vary a lot with traffic. Rather than measuring straight-line distance, think in terms of door-to-door travel time.

  • Check the subway line. If your hotel is near a station on Line 1 or Line 2, a clinic near Seomyeon Station, where both lines meet, is often a direct ride.
  • Consider rush hour. Taxis can be slow at peak times. The subway is usually more predictable.
  • Think about the return trip. After some treatments you may prefer a short, simple journey back rather than a long transfer.
  • Walkability helps. If you can walk from your hotel, you can fit an appointment between shopping, meals and sightseeing more easily.

What to check beyond location

Once you have a shortlist of clinics within easy reach, compare them on these points:

  • Doctor-led consultations. Your treatment plan should be set by a physician who examines your skin and explains options, side effects and downtime.
  • Language support. Ask whether consultations are available in your language, not only at reception.
  • Clear prices. Look for prices in KRW that state whether VAT is included, and whether extras such as numbing or tips are separate.
  • Treatments that match your goals. Check the clinic actually offers the type of treatment you are interested in. If a specific device or brand matters to you, ask directly.
  • Opening hours. Evening and Saturday hours help if your days are full of sightseeing.
  • Easy messaging. A clinic that answers on WhatsApp or KakaoTalk makes it simpler to ask questions before and after treatment.

Matching hotel areas to a Seomyeon clinic

Seomyeon is in the middle of Busan, which makes it a practical meeting point for visitors staying in different neighbourhoods.

  • Staying in Seomyeon. You can usually walk to the clinic and return to rest afterwards.
  • Staying in Haeundae or Gwangalli. Line 2 runs directly to Seomyeon Station, so you do not need to transfer.
  • Staying in Nampo or near Busan Station. Line 1 runs directly to Seomyeon.
  • Staying near the airport or Sasang. Line 2 connects Sasang with Seomyeon.

Daybeau Clinic Seomyeon is in the Ion City Building, 15F (Room 1501), 74 Seomyeon-ro, Busanjin-gu, a short walk from Seomyeon Station. Opening hours are Monday to Friday 10:00 to 20:00 and Saturday 10:00 to 16:00.

Comparing prices across clinics

Prices in Korea vary between clinics and areas. Differences usually come from the device or product used, the number of shots or units, the doctor's time, and whether a first-visit or event price applies. When comparing, make sure you are comparing the same thing: the same number of shots, the same area and whether VAT is included.

For reference, here are some Daybeau Clinic Seomyeon first-visit prices in KRW, VAT excluded (10% VAT is added at payment), checked October 2026. See the full price list.

  • Jaw Botox 50 units: KRW 9,900
  • LDM regeneration mode 6 minutes: KRW 19,000
  • InMode FX full face: KRW 45,000
  • Capri laser steps 1-3: KRW 89,000
  • Sofwave 100 shots: KRW 800,000

Fillers and threads are quoted after an in-person consultation. First-visit prices apply once per new patient per item.

Frequently asked questions

Should I always choose the closest clinic?

Not necessarily. A slightly longer subway ride may be worth it for clearer prices, a doctor-led consultation in your language and treatments that fit your goals.

How long does it take to reach Seomyeon from Haeundae?

Line 2 runs directly between the two areas. Journey time depends on your starting station, so check a map app for your exact route.

Can I return to my hotel between consultation and treatment?

Often treatment follows the consultation on the same visit, but if you prefer time to think, you can ask to book treatment for later.

Can the clinic help me plan around my hotel location?

Yes. Tell us where you are staying when you message, and we can suggest times that fit your route.
