Why "600 shots" needs a closer look

Thermage FLX is one of the most recognised radiofrequency lifting treatments, and "600 shots" is a figure many international visitors see in Korean clinic advertisements. A shot count sounds like a clear, comparable unit, but two quotes for Thermage 600 shots can still include quite different things. Before you book, it helps to know what should be included in the price and which questions to ask.

This guide explains what a Thermage 600-shot quote typically covers, what may be charged separately, and how to compare offers fairly.

Thermage FLX uses monopolar radiofrequency to heat the deeper layers of the skin, with the aim of tightening existing collagen and stimulating new collagen over time. People often consider it for mild to moderate skin laxity on the face, around the eyes or on the neck. Results develop gradually and vary between individuals, and a doctor needs to assess whether it suits your skin.

What a 600-shot price should include

When a clinic quotes Thermage 600 shots, ask whether each of these is included:

  • A genuine, single-use tip. Thermage tips are single-use and carry verification labelling. The tip should be new and opened in front of you.
  • The full 600 shots. Ask how many shots will actually be delivered, and whether the count is confirmed on the device.
  • The areas covered. Full face, eyes and neck may be counted together or separately. Ask how the 600 shots are distributed.
  • Tip type. Different tips exist for face, eyes and body. Ask which tip is used for which area.
  • Doctor consultation. A doctor should examine your skin and set the plan.
  • Who performs the treatment. Ask whether the doctor will deliver the shots.
  • Numbing. Numbing cream is commonly applied; check whether it is included.
  • VAT. Check whether the 10% VAT is included in the quote.

Items that may be extra

Some clinics include additional items in a Thermage package, and others charge separately. Common examples are:

  • An eye tip. If you want the eye area treated with a dedicated tip, this may be priced separately.
  • Combination treatments. Skin boosters or other lifting devices offered alongside Thermage.
  • Aftercare products. Soothing creams or masks.
  • Follow-up visits. Ask what happens if you have questions after treatment.

None of these are automatically better or worse; what matters is knowing the total in advance.

Thermage FLX at Daybeau Clinic Seomyeon

Thermage FLX is not on our published price list. At Daybeau Clinic Seomyeon it is quoted after an in-person consultation, once the doctor has confirmed the areas, tip and number of shots that suit you. You will receive a clear quote in KRW before treatment, and payment is made at the clinic on the day of treatment once the plan is confirmed. Read more on our Thermage FLX page.

If you are also considering other lifting options, our price list shows first-visit prices in KRW, VAT excluded (10% VAT added at payment), checked October 2026. For example, InMode FX full face is 45,000 KRW, ONDA 20,000J is 89,000 KRW and Titanium 30KJ is 290,000 KRW. These are different technologies, not substitutes, and the doctor can explain the differences.

Questions to ask before you book

  1. How many shots on which areas? Get the split in writing or in a message.
  2. Which tip, and will I see it opened? Confirm the tip is genuine and new.
  3. Who will treat me? Ask whether it is the doctor.
  4. Is VAT included? Compare all quotes on the same basis.
  5. Is this a first-visit price? Ask what a repeat treatment would cost.
  6. What should I expect afterwards? Ask about common effects and aftercare.

Comfort, side effects and expectations

Thermage FLX uses a cooling and vibration system to improve comfort, but heat sensations during treatment are common. Afterwards, temporary redness, warmth and mild swelling can occur, and less commonly tenderness or small bumps. Most people return to normal activity soon, but experiences vary. Results are gradual and not guaranteed. If you are pregnant, have implanted electronic devices or a medical condition, consult a doctor before treatment.

Frequently asked questions

Is 600 shots the right number for me?

Not necessarily. The right number depends on your skin and the areas treated. The doctor decides at consultation.

Why do 600-shot quotes differ?

Differences usually come from tip type, area distribution, doctor involvement, extras and whether VAT is included.

Can I see the tip before treatment?

You should be able to. Ask the clinic to show you the sealed tip and its labelling.

How much is Thermage at your clinic?
