Ultherapy Plus Thermage Packages: Pricing and Safety Considerations

Why people consider Ultherapy and Thermage together

Ultherapy and Thermage are two of the most widely recognised non-surgical lifting treatments, and in Korea they are sometimes discussed as a combination. They use different energy types. Ultherapy uses focused ultrasound, which targets deeper layers beneath the skin, including the layer surgeons work on during a facelift. Thermage uses monopolar radiofrequency, which heats the skin more broadly to support tightening and texture.

Because they work at different depths, some doctors consider using both as part of a lifting plan. This does not mean the combination is right for everyone. Skin thickness, the degree of laxity, facial fat, previous treatments and personal goals all affect whether one, both or neither is a sensible choice.

What the listed prices look like

At Daybeau Clinic Seomyeon, Ultherapy Prime is on our price list: Ultherapy Prime 300 shots is 990,000 KRW, first-visit price, VAT excluded (10% VAT added at payment), checked October 2026. That is 1,089,000 KRW including VAT.

Thermage FLX is not on the price list. It is quoted after an in-person consultation, because the plan depends on the treatment areas and the number of shots the doctor recommends for you. This means we do not publish a fixed Ultherapy plus Thermage package price. Instead, the doctor builds the plan with you and gives you the total before treatment.

When you see combination packages advertised elsewhere, compare the details rather than the headline number. Check how many Ultherapy shots and Thermage shots are included, which areas are treated, which device generation is used, and whether VAT is included.

Safety considerations for combining two lifting devices

Both treatments deliver energy into the skin, so combining them deserves careful planning. Points a doctor will usually consider:

  • Total energy and heat. Treating the same area with two energy-based devices increases the overall load on the tissue. The doctor will adjust settings and areas accordingly.
  • Facial fat. In people with a slim face, deep ultrasound can sometimes make the face look more hollow if not planned carefully. This is one reason assessment matters.
  • Same day or separate days. Some doctors perform both on the same day; others prefer to space them out. The right approach depends on your skin and the doctor's judgement.
  • Comfort. Both treatments can be uncomfortable. Numbing options and pain tolerance are discussed beforehand.
  • Common after-effects. Temporary redness, mild swelling, tenderness or tingling can occur. Rarely, nerve-related numbness or small burns can happen with energy-based devices, so ask the doctor about risks.
  • Medical history. Pregnancy, implanted electronic devices, metal implants in the treatment area, active skin infections and some medical conditions may mean a treatment is not suitable. Consult a doctor.

Alternatives to a two-device package

A combination is not the only route to a lifted look. Depending on your goals and budget, the doctor may suggest a single device or a different pairing. Other listed lifting options include (KRW, VAT excluded, first-visit, checked October 2026):

  • Shurink Universe 300 shots. 55,000
  • InMode FX full face. 45,000
  • ONDA 20,000J. 89,000
  • Titanium 30KJ. 290,000
  • Sofwave 100 shots. 800,000
  • XERF 300 shots. 990,000

Other devices you may read about, such as Oligio, are explained during consultation, and you can ask which options are available. For an overview, visit our face lifting page.

Planning a combination as a visitor

If you are travelling to Busan, plan lifting treatments early in your stay. Swelling and tenderness usually settle, but it is more comfortable not to fly the same day if you feel sensitive. Results from energy-based lifting tend to develop gradually over the following weeks rather than appearing all at once, so you may notice changes after you return home. Results vary and are not guaranteed.

Frequently asked questions

How much does Ultherapy plus Thermage cost at your clinic?

Ultherapy Prime 300 shots is 990,000 KRW (first-visit, VAT excluded, checked October 2026). Thermage FLX is quoted after consultation, so the combined total is confirmed once the doctor has assessed you.

Is it safe to do both on the same day?

It can be, for suitable patients, but it depends on your skin and the doctor's assessment. The doctor will explain whether same-day or separate sessions are more appropriate.

Will I need both treatments?

Not necessarily. Many people achieve their goals with a single device. The doctor will recommend what suits your skin rather than a fixed package.

When is payment made?

Payment is made at the clinic on the day of treatment, after the consultation confirms your plan.
