Two very different parts of Busan

Haeundae and Seomyeon are two of the districts international visitors know best in Busan, and both have skin clinics. Haeundae is the famous beach area on the city's east side, popular for hotels, the seafront and a holiday atmosphere. Seomyeon is Busan's central commercial hub, with shopping streets, restaurants and a major subway interchange.

If you are planning a skin treatment during your stay, it is worth thinking about which area fits your trip, not just which clinic has the most reviews. This guide looks at the practical differences, the questions to ask any clinic, and how to plan treatment around a beach holiday.

Location and getting there

Location affects how easily you can attend, return for follow-up and fit treatment around sightseeing:

  • Seomyeon. Seomyeon Station is where subway Lines 1 and 2 meet, so it is easy to reach from most parts of the city, including Busan Station, Nampo and Haeundae. It is a convenient midpoint if you are moving between areas.
  • Haeundae. Convenient if your hotel is on the beach and you want to stay local. It is on Line 2, so travelling to Seomyeon is a straightforward subway ride.
  • Your itinerary. If you are spending most of your time in the city centre, Nampo or near Busan Station, Seomyeon is usually the easier choice. If you rarely leave the beach, a local option may be simpler.

Daybeau Clinic Seomyeon is in the Ion City Building, 15F, Room 1501, 74 Seomyeon-ro, Busanjin-gu, a short walk from Seomyeon Station.

What to check at any clinic, in either district

The neighbourhood matters less than how the clinic works. Before booking, check:

  • Physician-led consultation. A doctor should examine your skin and set your plan.
  • Language. Confirm the consultation is available in a language you are comfortable with. Our clinic offers English, Japanese and Korean.
  • Clear published prices. Prices should state whether 10% VAT is included and whether first-visit conditions apply.
  • Treatment range. Check that the clinic actually offers the device or product you want.
  • Opening hours. Our hours are Mon–Fri 10:00–20:00 and Sat 10:00–16:00.
  • Easy booking. Messaging apps make it simpler to arrange times from abroad.

Planning treatment around a beach trip

If you are in Busan for the beach, timing matters. Many laser, peel and resurfacing treatments make the skin more sensitive to sunlight for a period afterwards, and doctors generally advise careful sun protection. Some injectables can leave small bumps or bruises for a short time. A few practical tips:

  1. Plan sun-sensitive treatments carefully. Discuss your beach plans with the doctor so they can recommend suitable timing or options.
  2. Use sunscreen and shade. Follow aftercare advice, especially after laser treatments.
  3. Schedule injectables earlier. This gives swelling or bruising time to settle before photos.
  4. Avoid saunas and very hot environments. If advised by your doctor after certain treatments.

Example first-visit prices at Daybeau Clinic Seomyeon

To help with budgeting, here are some published first-visit prices, in KRW, VAT excluded (10% VAT added at payment), checked October 2026:

  • Wrinkle Botox, Korean toxin, 1 area. 3,000 KRW.
  • Aquapeel steps 1 and 2. 9,900 KRW.
  • Exosome 2.5cc. 49,000 KRW.
  • Shurink Universe 300 shots. 55,000 KRW.
  • Rejuran 2cc. 139,000 KRW.

First-visit prices apply once per new patient per item. See our full price list for more.

So, where should you book?

Choose the area that makes your appointment easy to reach and fits your schedule, then choose the clinic based on doctor involvement, clear pricing and good communication. For many visitors, Seomyeon's central location and subway connections make it a practical base, especially if you are splitting time between the beach and the city.

It also helps to think about what happens after treatment. If the doctor recommends a follow-up check or a second session, a clinic near a major interchange is easier to return to on a later day of your trip. Seomyeon is also full of cafes, shops and restaurants, so you can comfortably rest nearby before heading back to your hotel.

Frequently asked questions

How do I get from Haeundae to Seomyeon?

Take subway Line 2 towards Seomyeon. The clinic is a short walk from Seomyeon Station.

Can I go to the beach after a laser treatment?

Ask the doctor. Many lasers increase sun sensitivity, so you may be advised to protect your skin carefully or adjust your timing.

Do I need to speak Korean?

No. Consultations are available in English, Japanese and Korean.

How do I book?

You can book via WhatsApp, KakaoTalk, Naver Booking or by phone on +82 51-925-7890.
