What "jawline contouring" can mean

Jawline contouring is a broad term. For some people it means slimming a wide, square lower face; for others it means sharpening a soft jawline or creating a more defined chin. In Korean clinics, non-surgical jawline contouring is often called a V-line treatment, and it usually combines one or more approaches rather than relying on a single product.

Because plans differ so much, the cost of jawline contouring in Busan depends on which treatments you need. This guide explains the common options, which have published prices at Daybeau Clinic Seomyeon, and which are quoted after consultation.

Common non-surgical approaches

  • Jaw Botox. Relaxes the masseter muscle, which can make a wide lower face look slimmer over time when the width is due to muscle.
  • Fat-dissolving injections. Used for small areas of localised fat, such as under the chin or along the jaw.
  • Lifting devices. Ultrasound or radiofrequency treatments that aim to tighten and firm skin along the jawline.
  • Chin or jawline filler. Adds structure to define the chin or jaw angle.
  • Thread lifting. Dissolvable threads used to support and lift soft tissue.

A doctor will assess whether your concern is mainly muscle, fat, skin laxity or bone structure, which determines the right approach. Read more on our V-line contouring page.

Published prices for jawline-related treatments

At Daybeau Clinic Seomyeon, first-visit prices are in KRW, VAT excluded (10% VAT added at payment), checked October 2026:

  • Jaw Botox 50 units. 9,900 KRW.
  • ZERO steroid-free fat-dissolving injection 3cc. 15,000 KRW.
  • InMode FX full face. 45,000 KRW.
  • Shurink Universe 300 shots. 55,000 KRW.
  • ONDA 20,000J. 89,000 KRW.
  • Titanium 30KJ. 290,000 KRW.
  • Ultherapy Prime 300 shots. 990,000 KRW.

Chin and jawline filler and thread lifts are quoted after an in-person consultation, because the amount of product or number of threads varies. First-visit prices apply once per new patient per item. See our full price list.

Example combinations

These examples only show how listed prices add up; they are not recommendations. The doctor decides what is suitable.

  1. Muscle-focused slimming. Jaw Botox 50 units: 9,900 KRW before VAT.
  2. Muscle and small fat pockets. Jaw Botox (9,900 KRW) plus ZERO fat-dissolving 3cc (15,000 KRW): 24,900 KRW before VAT.
  3. Slimming and firming. Jaw Botox (9,900 KRW) plus Shurink Universe 300 shots (55,000 KRW): 64,900 KRW before VAT.

Add 10% VAT to any total. If filler or threads are part of your plan, the doctor will quote those separately after examining you.

How long results take and last

  • Jaw Botox. Slimming develops gradually over several weeks as the muscle relaxes, and the effect fades over months, so it is usually repeated.
  • Fat-dissolving injections. Often given as a series; changes are gradual.
  • Lifting devices. Effects develop over weeks to months.
  • Filler. Shows a visible change straight away, though swelling needs time to settle.

Results vary between individuals and are not guaranteed.

For visitors on a short trip, this timing matters. You may leave Busan before jaw Botox or a lifting treatment has reached its full effect, so it helps to think of jawline contouring as a plan over time rather than a one-day change. Ask the doctor what to expect over the following weeks and when a repeat treatment might make sense, so you can plan future visits. If you want a visible change before a specific event, tell the doctor your date at the start of the consultation.

Side effects and safety

Jaw Botox can cause temporary tenderness, bruising and, less commonly, changes in chewing strength or smile. Fat-dissolving injections commonly cause swelling, redness and tenderness for a few days. Lifting devices can cause temporary redness, swelling or tenderness. Filler carries risks including swelling, bruising, lumps and, rarely, vascular complications, so it should be done by a doctor. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding or have a medical condition, consult a doctor before any treatment.

Frequently asked questions

Which treatment is best for a square jaw?

It depends on the cause. If width comes from the masseter muscle, jaw Botox is often discussed; if it is fat or laxity, other options may suit. The doctor decides.

How much is chin filler?

Chin and jawline filler are quoted after an in-person consultation, as the amount of product varies.

Can I do several treatments in one visit?

Sometimes, if the doctor confirms it is suitable. Each listed item is priced separately.

When will I see a slimmer jaw after Botox?

Changes are gradual and develop over several weeks. Plan ahead if you have an event.
